According to a study conducted by Harvard University in 2011, nearly half of America’s college students drop out before receiving a degree.

The study, entitled which was supported by data collected from the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development stated only 46% of the students completed their college in the US during the period of study.

Even though College graduates aged 25 to 32 who are working full time earn about $17,500 more annually than their peers who have only a high school diploma, as revealed by the Pew Research Center, not all degrees are equally useful. And given the crushing student debts, high cost of college and other factors American students to drop out before receiving their degree at higher rates than in other developed countries.
