Leo Nahe is a 27 year old kanaka ʻōiwi (Native Hawaiians) from Waiʻehu, Maui. She is deeply connected to her ʻāina (land) and her lāhui (people). She is committed to integrating ʻike kūpuna (ancestral knowledge) into all of her work, community outreach and farming. She firmly believes that all people, especially Native Hawaiians in Hawaiʻi, have the right to be fed, housed, and treated with dignity. Guided by her passion for justice, cultural preservation, and community, she aids in building a future that honors the wellbeing of the ʻāina, its people, and all that came before.
Things I share: Nā Mea Manuahi, in collaboration with Share Circle, will be launching our first Nā Mea Manuahi Stand that will hold food, basic necessities (feminine care, diapers, etc.), and tools for the Maui community.
